How to Use AutoTracker

What is it? 

AutoTracker is a tool that uses AI to read the contents of emails you receive from media asking for a response, or stakeholders requesting a service. AutoTracker automatically enters the request in your media interactions log or service log, depending on which one you select. It can also recommend key messaging.

Why use it? 

AutoTracker saves a ton of time on data entry because you don’t have to create an entry from scratch and copy-type or copy-paste from the email. The system predicts what you want in your entry and what messaging you may want to use. It’s a pretty revolutionary way to use Tracker!

How to use it? 

Two ways. Try this with the next email you receive:

1. If you receive an email from a journalist, simply forward it to make.interaction@ai.broadsighttracker.ca and in 20-60 seconds, AI will create a draft entry for your media interactions log.

2. If you receive an email from a stakeholder, simply forward it to make.service@ai.broadsighttracker.ca and in 20-60 seconds AI will create a draft entry for your service log and also recommend key messaging.

You can then find either of these drafts by accessing the lefthand menu on your screen and selecting AutoTracker. When you are in the AutoTracker tab, select Media Interactions or Services using the toggle at the top of the screen. Review the entry and edit it or approve it, and then it will be in the log.
